This new Intel CPU leak hints at stronger Steam Deck rivals to come

Benchmarks of Intel's upcoming Core Ultra 200V laptop CPUs have been leaked, and show that the new chips can deliver impressive gaming performance while drawing a tiny amount of power. The Intel Core Ultra 200V benchmark leak suggests Intel could be putting up quite a strong fight against competition from AMD and Qualcomm when its new CPUs arrive later this year.

It's an exciting time for laptops - both gaming and otherwise - with the second half of this year set to see new devices based on three brand new chips battle it out for best gaming laptop supremacy. Qualcomm was out first with its ARM-based Elite X chips, which bring incredible battery life but middling gaming performance. Then we'll be getting AMD's Strix Point chips in just a few weeks, and later this year we'll get Intel Lunar Lake.
