Good news could be on the horizon for gamers who want to get their hands on a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 or, indeed, any of the GPU maker’s brand-new graphics cards. The company claims that it expects prices for its new RTX 50-series cards to “stabilize” once stock levels have improved, insisting that it's “working closely” with partners to make that a reality.
It’s fair to say that, from a gamer’s point of view, Nvidia hasn’t had complete success with the launch of its latest RTX 50-series gaming GPUs. While the RTX 5090 is certainly the best graphics card you can buy in terms of sheer power, not enough gamers have been able to buy one, let alone the rest of the lineup, with the pressure from scalpers and stock shortages leaving prices sky-high compared to their MSRPs.
